1. He did this through his play by showing people what it was like back in the 1600s during the Salem witch trials and all of the judgement and and accusations of being a witch, just like it was during McCarthy's age when he was making accusations of being communist. So he is showing them what it was like back then to time now.
2. That they had truths that they have not acknowledged the truth in front of them. Why Paul Robeson's testimony went "through the roof" is because on his declaration of faith in socialism as a cure for the racism in society.
3. This deals with peoples individuality and what they think and feel and it brings freedom out in them.
4. That there are always temptations are always around the corner for people and it can get them in trouble. Why this is vital for them to remember is that people always have to be on there toes for temptations.
